Register for 2021 Summer

Steminno is a competition, in collaboration with NASA Patents, for students to innovate with a focus toward commercialization:

A PBL (Project Based Learning) from end to end
Apply innovation through AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) and DS (Data Science)
Develop real-world business knowledge
Provide CTE (Career Technical Education) resources by bringing extensive professional network
Create social emotional learning through teamwork, mentorship and inter-school collaboration

How does remote participation work?

Students who participate remotely will have the access to the research materials and live webinars of the instructions and the recorded videos of all the orientations.e Questions" button.
Who is qualified to apply?

This challenge is offered to college students and motivated high school students, in the U.S. or abroad, who are interested in research, AI/ML/DS and the NASA technology.
Can I choose my own team members?

Yes. We welcome formed team to join the Challenge. If you are solo competitor, we will arrange the team based on your background and your interests.
Is prior knowledge of data analysis required?

Not necessary. This Challenge is for students who share interests in business and data science to get access to the NASA patent and generate their innovation. Students will be guided in conducting research and get training on basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Science.
